When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, many countries were quick to close their borders, turning inward in the scramble to protect lives and livelihoods. In the profound ways the COVID-19 impacted almost every part of life across the planet, giving us a rare opportunity to pause and consider how we live.

The impacts of coronavirus in the world created a complex situation turning life upside down for the countries, individuals, and companies. It was an opportunity to reconstruct both global and personal outlooks.

Impacts on economy

The coronavirus has had a significant impact on the global economy, from stocks to jobs and emerging marketing. The last quarter of 2020 saw the most brutal global equity collapse. Months later there were not much to bring alleviation with numbers of spreading was still increasing and crossed millions causing  more turbulence to the financial market. Investors were more concerned about survival rather than growth and government actions did not help enough to stop the decline. There was direct impact on demand and supply of goods and services, making businesses to face reduced cash flows due to slowing economic activity, which in turn had an impact on all payments including to those for employees, interest, loan repayments, and taxes.

Impacts on lifestyle

COVID-19 changed it all, the way we work, play and learn. Schools were closed, offices shut, sports leagues are canceled and postponed. Social distancing has became new way of living creating an isolation paradox.

The Coronavirus made isolated work a shocking and quick reality, even though there were people who embraced this paradigm shift but not everyone was longing to clinch the possibilities modern technology offers,  in short, most of the people are reluctant to accept the lifestyle of working from home.

Impacts on technology

The pandemic has led millions of people to rely more and more on technology shifting societies to the apex of new normal. Particularly mobiles, cloud-based productivity, and messaging tools are influencing the current lifestyle so that coworkers, acquaintances or colleagues can be on the same page while working remotely. Not just the corporate workflow is changing but schools are doing the same, holding classes online amidst cover-19 encouraging their students to stay at home comfortably watching live lectures one after another.

Impacts on environment

Efforts to contain the virus by restricting the movement have had a remarkable environmental impact. Data recorded between January and March 2020 reflects an 84.5 percent increase in days with good air quality in 337 cities, and satellite data from the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration shows a decline in nitrogen dioxide over China.
